My Week As A Tortured Soul Day 10 - Tall City Blues Fest Day 2

Day 2 of The Tall City Blues Fest began early...the show was on at 11am CDT and I had to set up my equipment once again.

The entire day was L-O-N-G, as it didn't end until about 2am CDT when I finally had to leave the Midnight Troubadours event in the basement of The Doubletree Hotel....but it was an awesome day...

Music was fantastic all day, it went off without any major delays and I think we ended the main stage 10 minutes later than planned.

First I will share the show podcast and then some pictures from the stages all day.

07/07/14 COUCH KID NEW MUSIC Too Slim & the Taildraggers "Anthology"

Tim Langford, Too Slim, originally sat on The Couch back in August of 2013 and tonight he came by to back to talk about the new release, Anthology, a collection of 34 songs that spans the 28 years of the band.

3 of the songs are brand new releases; 2 were written with Tom Hambridge and one written with Tom and Jim Suhler.

We talked about the last year for the band and where they are heading in the coming months while we listened to tracks from this 2 disc collection.

08/12/13 Tim "Too Slim" Langford Sat On The Couch

Too Slim & The Taildraggers formed in 1986 in Spokane Washington.

Tim Langford is the founder and leader of the band and he joined me to talk about his journey from Washington State to Nashville where he relocated in 2012.
