Steepwater Band is, Jeff Massey (guitarist/lead vocalist), Tod Bowers (bass) and Joe Winters (drums) are a solid power trio who began covering Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker and eventually began writing their own music.

I sat with Jeff and we discussed how the three musicians got together, how their music has evolved and where they are hoping to be in five years.

We also heard music from their four previous albums.
