06/17/13 Rory Block Sat On The Couch

Rory Block has been called the "greatest living acoustic blues artist" and Bonnie Raitt calls her an "inspiration".

With more than 20 releases to date and 5 Blues Music Awards, she has proven these statements again and again.



Her 'Mentor" Series of recordings are helping to share the music of the masters once again.  Avalon - A Tribute to Mississippi John Hurt is the latest and we listened to songs from the album as Rory told her story.

And tell her story she did.  This was a honor for me.
