Charlie Musselwhite needs little introduction.
He is a true icon in the blues world.
From growing up in Memphis, TN to the move to Chicago and then to San Francisco, Charlie has been a dominant figure in the blues world for decades and I am honored and humbled that he joined me this evening.
We had a great chat about his life growing up in memphis and why he moved to Chicago...and what surprised him the most once he got there.
I proposed a reason he moved to the west coast, which was totally wrong! and then Charlie educated us as to why he did that.
Throughout we listened to tunes from his new album Juke Joint Chapel.
