02/24/14 Black Tongued Bells Sat On The Couch

The Black Tongued Bells describe their sound as "a steamy gumbo of gothic-gospel juju, hopped up rock & roll, and dirt-pounding juke joint blues" and their debut album Every Tongue Has A Tale To Tell was selected as one of the top 50 Blues CDs Played Worldwide by The Root Music Report.

I was joined by D. Miner, lead guitarist and vocalist, drummer, fiddle and backing vocals Ray Herron and Anthony Cook, bass guitar and backing vocals.

We talked about their individual lives and careers and how two guys from California and a guy from New York got together to create music born in the swamps of Louisiana while listening to music from the new album.
