First The Soul Of John Black stopped by to talk about the two awards his song, Higher Power won during the recent Independent Music Awards - first taking the industry judge's award for R&B song and then The Vox Pop (fan) award for R&B Song and to thank his fans for their votes.
He also discussed getting ready to head back into the studio and start on his new album, which he said would be out sometime in 2015.
