10/14/13 Smokin Joe Kubek Sat On The Couch

Smokin Joe Kubek was raised in Irving, Texas, and while still a teenager was playing guitar in the band of the original Texas Cannonball, Freddie King.

He played with his own band and also performed behind some of the legends during the 70’s and 80’s. Then he met Bnois King and they have been playing together ever since.



With 15 albums and an instructional DVD to his name, he and his long-time partner, Bnois King have just released album 16, Road Dogs Life.

Joe and I discussed his career and his partnership with Bnois while we also discussed the new album and where they are headed next.
