03/18/13 Johnny Rawls Sat On The Couch

Johnny Rawls learned his trade playing with stars such as ZZ Hill, Johnny Taylor and OV Wright before going out on his own. He has garnered many honors along the way and this year he has been nominated for Soul Blues Album Of The Year and Soul Blues Male Artist Of The Year.


This is the story of a man who took control of his life and career.  He has produced, written, arranged horns, promoted and anything else that needs to be done in the music industry.

Johnny and I discussed his great life and what he looks forward to in the coming years.
