11/18/13 Billy Thompson Sat On The Couch

Billy Thompson has been playing guitar since he was 18 and was lead guitar for the Broadway show Ain’t Nothin’ but the Blues and for Tony Award winning playwright Keith Glover’s Bluesical, Thunder Knocking on the Door.

He represented the the DC Blues Society at the IBC in 2009 and his last album, A Better Man was nominated for a 2012 Blues Blast Music Award for Contemporary Blues Album.

Music On The Couch streams LIVE on BlogTalk Radio each Monday at 9:00pm Central and is then archived forever here and at my BlogTalk Radio Page.

The shows feature interviews with artists in the Blues and Rock genres with occasional forays into the worlds of Country, Americana and Roots music.

Each show features at least two artists, giving them 45-50 minutes each to tell their stories and to hear their latest music.
