"Couch Kid", Mark T Small returned with his new album, Smokin' Blues.

This is a collection of Mark's favorite "guitar grooves played using both fingerpicking and flat picking techniques" and it is a winner IMHO.

Mark and I talked about the making of the album and his special guests on the disc as we played a selection of tunes.

Having played music for over 40 years, Mark T. Small has played bluegrass, newgrass and finally it all came together with the blues.

After years of leading a band, Small is now out playing mainly as a solo act.

His newest release Black, Whites and The Blues is set for release on September 20th and as we chat with mark about his life and his goals, we will check out cuts from this collection of covers and originals.

Mark and I had a great talk about his life and his music.
