09/16/13 Bryan Lee Brings New Music To The Couch

Bryan Lee originally joined me back in June 2011 and we have been in touch often since and I have had the opportunity to see him live a few times since then.

Bryan joined me this evening, on the eve of the release of his new album Play One For Me, his first album on the Severn Label.

06/06/11 Bryan Lee Sat on The Couch

Lee is originally from Wisconsin, but for the better part of 30 years he has called New Orleans his home.

Known as the "Braille Blues Daddy" (Lee has been without sight since he was 8-years old), Lee was once told by the great Muddy waters, "Bryan, stay with this. One day you're going to be a living legend."

Bryan sat on The Couch and we discussed his road to his life today. We touched on his youth and moving to Chicago. His years playing there and then his move to New Orleans.

Along the way, we got to hear music from Bryan and his band.
