Jarekus Singleton has been shaking the blues world the last two years, and Alligator Records was listening.

Jarekus originally took his Seat On The Couch in July of 2013.

When Jarekus Singleton was 12 he was a bench warmer for the basketball team he played for. Changing teams the next year, he won the Newcomer Of The Year Award and helped his team get to the nationals.

 He then went on to play in high school and college.
